CybeRose note (June 25, 2012): Plukenet may have copied Hermann (1687) in misidentifying Lilionarcissus rubeus Indicus Ald. Hort. Farn. with Ferrari's "saturo colore". Spelling the name "rubens" rather than "rubeus", on the other hand, was his own mistake.
